Local Exposure: Berzerker A.D Breakup

After only 5 years of being a band together, Calgary punks known as Berzerker A.D have made their plans to split away from the scene due to their guitarist, Travis Atomic moving away. Although this band may be forever remembered because of their wicked and high-energy sound, it sure as hell wasn't because they played a lot of shows during their years together as a band. What started off as a couple of guys getting drunk and deciding to play music, ended off with Calgary permanently losing yet another punk band that actually didn't suck. Although this situation happens time and time again throughout history, we can only hope that the next generation of fuck-ups will still be listening to their music. A recording date has already been established in early June at Echo Base Studios so that fans will be able to get their hands on the first and last album ever to be recorded before their breakup. Also stay tuned for Berzerker's final stretch of shows June 2nd, June 7th and June 17th at the Distillery, and again on June 19th at Verns.
